Vanessa Cirulli, PsyD is a clinically- trained psychologist with 8+ years providing culturally-informed individual and group counseling. She has worked with all ages in wide-ranging populations. She is specifically trained in Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC), Seeking Safety, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and psychological testing and evaluation. Her training heavily emphasized the practice of mindfulness and meditation for the management of anxiety, depression and stress.
Her own journey with ADHD began after many long years of misdiagnosis. She was finally diagnosed with ADHD in her mid-30s and has since been on a journey of discovery, heartache, and growth. Vanessa is dedicated to ongoing advocacy and education both within and outside the community for ADHD. She is especially committed to service that assures others do not travel on this journey alone. Vanessa shows up with great integrity, presence, and compassion and has a gift for bringing out the best in others.
In addition to a doctorate in psychology, she brings you diverse and broad life experiences. She has worked in documentary filmmaking and production for the History Channel, is a founding contributor to a thriving sustainable farm in Italy, and has been an Instructor of English as a Second Language in several countries.
She has innumerable and eclectic interests including but not limited to mindfulness and meditation, photography, narrative journalism, Italian language and culture, travel, being outdoors, all things water, gardening, cooking, sculpture, and music. She currently resides in the United States.
